Caroline steggles

Caroline (nee Alston) is a distant relation of Clan Trust founder, Robert Alston. Born and raised on a Norfolk farm, Caroline studied Management Studies at Nottingham University and qualified as an accountant with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, before specialising in internal controls and governance for a number of public sector organisations and, most recently, for The Flagship Group.

Caroline has now returned to the countryside where she runs a number of rural businesses with her husband, including a farm shop and cheesemaking business. In addition to helping Stephen Oldfield with Clan Trust charity governance, she is an ex-Norfolk Young Farmer and a current Trustee for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. Caroline also has links with other local charities, helping to raise the profile of the Clan Trust to attract both new funds and beneficiaries.
