clan trust scholarship

To mark the 50th Anniversary of Clan Trust in 2018, the Trustees are delighted to announce the launch of the Clan Trust Scholarship with a value of up to £10,000.

The Scholarship will be awarded annually to the most outstanding candidate for a Farming Education, Research, or Travel Project.

Applications for the Scholarship will open in January and will be awarded in May following assessment of the applications and interview.

To be eligible to apply for the Scholarship candidates must:

  • Be aged between the ages of 18 – 30

  • Have been resident in Norfolk for at least 3 years

  • Demonstrate a commitment to farming or rural industries or agricultural research

Demonstrate the need and benefits for the specific area of research, education or travel

CLAN AGRI-SCIENCE FUND

For benefactors wishing to target their donations at advancing science in agriculture, the Clan Trust have created a bespoke Agri- Science Fund.

According to the merits of the applications, the satisfaction of the objectives and the approval of the Trustees, grants can be made to any number of applicants with values commensurate with the worth they bring to scientific development.

Awards are given in winter and summer. Donors will receive annual reports on the progress of the specific projects funded.

CLAN Community Fund

Clan Trust have established a fund in partnership with the Norfolk Community Foundation to provide direct support to elderly residents across the region.

On behalf of the Clan Trust, NCF identi es and commissions charities, voluntary groups and specialist centres that comprehend local needs and have the capabilities to deliver improvements in quality of life for the elderly.
